All are very talented musicians, have a great sense of humor, are personable, fan friendly and they are just down right FUN! Easton concerts are a "must see" if you love country music! He's not just old school country (which I love best) but he also sings current/new country songs as well, so you get a little bit of everything in one show. He gives so much of the spotlight to his band members as well and I must say they do also deserve it. Rating: 5 out of 5 FUN! by Pretzel Lady (CJ) on 4/4/23 Bally's Lake Tahoe - StatelineĮaston is obviously a great singer but he doesn't make it about him.I enjoy shows at smaller venues, but Bally’s could definitely improve in their execution of the environment for the shows. They need more people working the drink lines too. If they want to fit more people, get rid of the tables, or make it a true old school experience with more lavish tables and spread out seats. The venue has the seats crammed together at each table. Rating: 4 out of 5 Great show! Interesting venue by Babbittini on 4/4/23 Bally's Lake Tahoe - StatelineĮaston Corbin always puts on a solid show! Great mix of older hits and sprinkles in newer songs. This is the second time played such a short time. Rating: 3 out of 5 Enjoyable but short by JakT on 4/5/23 Bally's Lake Tahoe - Stateline.I was in one of the front tables by the stage and they tried to cram too many chairs in there. Easton Corbin and his band put on a great show. by Dayna on 4/5/23 Bally's Lake Tahoe - Stateline Rating: 4 out of 5 Easton is amazing, as always. Both releases led up to the arrival of his full-length debut, Easton Corbin, in 2010. Working with producer Carson Chamberlain, he released his debut single, "A Little More Country Than That," in July of that same year, following it with a four-song EP under the same title a month later. He caught the ears of booking agent James Yelich and Universal Music Group Nashville’s Senior Director of A&R, Joe Fisher, who immediately signed Corbin to the group’s Mercury Nashville imprint in 2009. A fortunate audition at a local music store led to a solo spot on-stage at the nearby Suwannee River Jam festival, and soon he was securing opening slots for national acts like Janie Fricke and Mel McDaniel.Īfter earning a business degree from the College of Agriculture at the University of Florida, Corbin married and moved to Nashville in 2006 to try his hand at becoming a professional country singer. Soon, he was playing lead guitar in a local band while also honing a solo act. Corbin began taking guitar lessons at the age of 15, turning to his mentor, former Nashville session guitarist Pee Wee Melton, for instruction. He also spent time exploring his grandfather’s record collection, which included several titles left behind by his father and his aunts. He spent a good deal of time at his grandparents’ cattle farm following his parents’ divorce, and aside from helping on the farm and being active in the local FFA and 4-H chapters, Corbin fell in love with the various Opry television shows that aired on Saturday nights. It reminds me a little of Joe Nichols on this one and that’s another good thing.Born and raised in rural Gilchrist County, FL, Easton Corbin remembered wanting to be a country singer as early as three or four years old. You’ll be hearing from it plenty on the radio in the coming months at least I hope so. It’s pretty close to the studio version and that’s a good thing if you’re a fan of this song. ![]() It’s catchy and Easton’s vocals come out to the front, which is as it should be in country music. This is the acoustic version of the song and it’s a pretty good version. And before he knows it the night is getting longer and longer and he’s not sure how he feel in the morning. He’s not looking to stay out late or anything like that, but when he runs into a pretty girl he can’t really help himself. The song is about a guy that’s spending some time in the bar. ![]() It’s a pretty simple country song, but when you have a traditional country voice like Easton and you know your audience you don’t need to get crazy. Well that’s about as easy as it gets for typing the title of a song.īut I actually really like this song. Here is the next single from Easton’s new album. ![]() Easton is one of the modern country singers that’s keepin’ it country these days. That was a really catchy song and I was happy to see it climb that high on the charts. Here is the next single from Easton Corbin.Įaston Corbin just finished up with his top 3 song Baby Be My Love Song.
